Hi, my name is Jochen and I’m working for PTV Group.

When modeling pedestrian movements with PTV Viswalk, it’s common to have a large number of routes.

In the new version of PTV Viswalk, we listened to feedback from you, the modelers, and made modeling of routes easier.

First, you are now able to add a route location to multiple routes at once.

Once multiple routes are selected, select “Add route point for all routes” from the context menu, then add a new route point at the desired location along the route.

Another improvement is when you have a selection of routes and edit a single one. The selection is now maintained, in order to change other routes as well - without the need to re-select the other route again.

These features allow more efficient modelling with PTV Vissim and Viswalk and will save your time in modelling and money.

The new Viswalk version is now available for download. And we’d love to get your feedback – so let’s chat at the Vissim Users Forum on LinkedIn.
