Visitors at TRB will get a sneak peak of PTV Model2Go Demand.

Karlsruhe, Washington D.C., 19 December 2022. PTV Group, the world market leader for mobility software, will be at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 101st Annual Meeting on January 8–12, 2023 in Washington, D.C.. The conference brings together thousands of transportation professionals, representatives of governments, the industry, and academic institutions from around the world. At PTV’s booth 805, participants will discover how smart software enables an equitable, resilient, sustainable, and safe mobility ecosystem of the future.

A team of international PTV experts will be presenting the company’s world-leading solutions for data analysis and visualization, modeling, and simulation – standard tools such as PTV Visum and PTV Vissim, which are used by over 2,500 cities worldwide, as well as software novelties such as PTV Visum Publisher. The software's integrated workflows enables users to quickly create and share dashboards with beautiful maps and animations. PTV Access, which was released in December 2022, gives insight into the mobility potential of cities. An accessibility score indicates how well people can reach common points of interest (POIs). The dashboard is already available for the 50 largest German cities and will be gradually expanded to include cities worldwide.

Visitors at TRB will also get a sneak peak of PTV Model2Go Demand. The next version of PTV Model2Go, the automation technology for ready-to-use transportation models, will soon include travel demand data powered by TomTom. PTV and TomTom will preview the new technology ahead of the official PTV Model2Go Demand release in a joint presentation Sunday, January 8th, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at PTV’s booth.

“Cities and transport planners are facing enormous challenges today. They must choose the right environmental measures, consider the mobility needs of all citizens, across all modes and guarantee safety, while preparing for any future crises that might arise. Our team at TRB is available to discuss how this massive task can be tackled with the help of intelligent technologies”, says Christian U. Haas, CEO of PTV Group.
